Lower Mainland summers used to be optional for air conditioning. After the 2021 heat dome — and every summer since — they aren't. We install central AC on existing ducts, ductless mini-splits for older homes without ducting, and high-efficiency heat pump systems that handle both AC and heating on one unit.
We assess your home's existing ducting (or lack of), electrical capacity, and cooling load; spec the right equipment for your square footage and layout; install the system; and confirm performance with proper airflow and refrigerant testing. Strata approvals for condos and townhomes are handled as part of our scope at no extra charge.
Richmond specifics: Richmond's Fraser delta location means damp winters and warm summers — heat pumps perform exceptionally well here, and the dehumidification cycle is a real comfort win. Richmond's flat geography and good road access mean installation logistics are typically straightforward, including for second-floor mini-split heads.
