Lower Mainland summers used to be optional for air conditioning. After the 2021 heat dome — and every summer since — they aren't. We install central AC on existing ducts, ductless mini-splits for older homes without ducting, and high-efficiency heat pump systems that handle both AC and heating on one unit.
We assess your home's existing ducting (or lack of), electrical capacity, and cooling load; spec the right equipment for your square footage and layout; install the system; and confirm performance with proper airflow and refrigerant testing. Strata approvals for condos and townhomes are handled as part of our scope at no extra charge.
Chilliwack specifics: Chilliwack summers regularly exceed 32°C; winters drop below -15°C in cold-snaps. AC is essential, heat pumps are the most cost-effective single-system answer for both. Cold-climate inverter units are the only safe spec for Chilliwack. Promontory and Eastern Hillsides homes need cold-climate heat pumps rated for -25°C. Sardis and Garrison Crossing typical homes are more straightforward.
